Welcome to the Theatrix website!
 
The main aim of Theatirx is to nurture the joy and love of theatre and performing arts. For those looking for more formal teaching , perhaps with a view to a career in teaching or on the stage Theatrix teaches all the major performing arts to GCSE and A level standard. Our curriculum includes Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Irish Dancing (both soft and heavy shoe) and drama. Regular examination sessions and medal tests are held.
With a fantastic track record of successful performances at the Gaiety Theatre in Douglas, Isle of Man this is the theatrical company on to bring out the thespian in every one.

Our Teachers:-
Susannah Hodgson-Principal
After graduating from The London Studio Centre, Susannah has taught all forms of theatre dance for many years including choreographing for stage, film and television.
Matthew Quinn – Singing
Matt trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and has been a member of the Manx Operatic Society for many years, performing in many productions including the role of ‘Jesus’ in ‘Jesus Christ, Superstar’.
Fiona Helleur – Drama
Fiona is the Worker in Charge at the Manx National Youth Theatre, and holds a B.A. in English and Drama. She is our appointed director, co-ordinating casting and production.
